This December, we're the elves.

Bike Santa is the Street Collective's annual holiday bike giveaway for Des Moines kids and families. Community members donate bikes throughout the year, and our volunteers spend months cleaning, repairing, and tuning them up so that on giveaway day, every single one is ready to ride. Kids don't just receive a bike — they pick the one they want, get fitted for a helmet courtesy of Blank Children's Hospital, and leave with a lock courtesy of the Des Moines Police Activities League.
