Coolest Bike in Town!!

Every May, Des Moines finds out whose ride rules the streets.

Coolest Bike in Town is the Street Collective's annual bike beauty pageant — part showcase, part swap meet, all community. Hosted at Captain Roy's with co-organizers Ichi Bike, the event brings together riders of every stripe to show off the bikes they've built, customized, restored, or just plain loved into something special. Road bikes, gravel rigs, fixies, trikes, tandems, e-bikes with handmade wool baskets — if it rolls and it's yours, it belongs here.
